Dr. Hartman is a board certified pediatrician and member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is a Quad Cities native, graduating from Rockridge High School in 2003. In 2005, she married her high school sweetheart, Josh. Dr. Hartman received her undergraduate degree from Augustana College and then moved to Kansas City where she earned her medical degree at KCUMB College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr Hartman completed her pediatric residency training at OSF St. Francis, Children's Hospital of Illinois in Peoria in 2014 and then returned to the Quad Cities to begin her pediatric career. She and her husband have 3 children and enjoy spending time at various sporting events and traveling.

Allyson Henry is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Augustana College in 2014, followed by her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Trinity College of Nursing in 2017. She went on to complete her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at Clarke University in 2022. Allyson completed her pediatric training under the guidance of Dr. Hartman and is proud to be a part of the team at Hartman Pediatrics. Before transitioning into primary care, she worked as a Labor and Delivery Nurse at UnityPoint, where she developed a strong foundation in women’s and newborn health. Outside of her clinical work, Allyson enjoys working out, reading a good book, and most of all - spending quality time with her husband, Jordan, and their two daughters.

Shelby Pelzer is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, accredited by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Iowa in 2013 and her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Iowa in 2017. During her graduate studies, Shelby gained clinical experience as a registered nurse at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, where she provided care for high-risk antepartum and postpartum mothers, as well as newborns. Prior to joining Hartman Pediatrics, she practiced as a pediatric nurse practitioner in Iowa. Outside of her professional life, Shelby enjoys spending time with her husband, Adam, and their three children, Ivy, Elliotte, and Crosby. The family enjoys cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes and shares a love for all things Disney.
